Weekly Torah Gatherings – Sun 5/22

“Jews will not replace us” — with them: from Ramses to Goshen and beyond . . .

12 But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and the more they spread abroad. And they were afrightened because of the children of Israel.

‘Where America still sees only Nazis and flaming torches, I see the first stirrings of the thing that comes after’ . . . Dahlia Lithwick

Now off to Buffalo: In citing the “great replacement” in a lengthy document posted online, the Buffalo suspect appears to have justified plans for his murderous assault by articulating what many of his kind already believe. “If there’s one thing I want you to get from these writings,” the suspect begins, “it’s that White birth rates must change.” Combined with a menacing “invasion” of non-White immigrants, low White fertility rates, he warns, “will ultimately result in the complete racial and cultural replacement” of Whites.

ט  וַיֹּאמֶר, אֶל-עַמּוֹ:  הִנֵּה, עַם בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל–רַב וְעָצוּם, מִמֶּנּוּ. Exodus 1:9 And he said unto his people: ‘Behold, the people of the children of Israel are too many and too mighty for us;
10 come, let us deal wisely with them, lest they multiply, and it come to pass, that, when there befalleth us any war, they also join themselves unto our enemies, and fight against us, and get them up out of the land.’
11 Therefore they did set over them taskmasters to afflict them with their burdens. And they built for Pharaoh store-cities, Pithom and Raamses.
12 But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and the more they spread abroad. And they were afrightened because of the children of Israel.
